Emergency Preparedness
- Discuss your family emergency plan.
Your family may not be together when disaster strikes, so it is important to know how you will contact one another, how you will get back together, and what you will do in case of emergency.
- Evacuation information, including evacuation routes, safety tips, timing, and recommended destinations, is included on Carteret County Evacuation.
- Information on public shelters which open following hurricane and other disaster events can be found on Carteret County Public Shelters.
