Health and Wellness
Medical Insurance: We offer two medical insurance options to cater to your healthcare needs, providing coverage for medical, hospitalization, and prescription expenses. These plans are a traditional PPO plan and a High Deductible plan. Under either plan, the City will pay 25% of the cost for child(ren), spouse or family coverage, with the remaining cost paid for by the employee. Dental and Vision Insurance: Our comprehensive dental and vision plans help you maintain your oral and visual health. The City provides coverage at 100% for the employee only. Child(ren), Spouse, and family plans are available. See the Full-Time Employee Benefit guide link below for additional information.
Wellness Programs: Our Wellness program is provided to our full-time employees under the BCBS program Rally Coins. See the Employee Wellness and Rewards program link below for additional information.
Financial Security
ORBIT State Retirement: As a full-time employee, you will be automatically enrolled in the State Retirement System. Each full-time employee is required to pay 6% of their salary into the State Retirement System. The City contributes a determined amount set by the State Retirement System each year.
401(k) Retirement Plan: Secure your future with our 401(k) plan, including company contributions, to help you save for your retirement. LEO employees and all general full-time employees receive 5% of their salary. General employees must contribute in order to receive the city’s 5% contribution.
Life Insurance: We provide life insurance coverage to ensure financial protection for your loved ones in the event of unforeseen circumstances.
Disability Insurance: We provide short-term disability to safeguard your income with disability coverage that supports you during times of temporary incapacity.
